Treborius Artefact Preservation and Enhancement Balm, Now you've restored your metal detecting finds now its time to preserve them.
Most of what we find in the ground isn't worth a lot so I like to restore some of my coins mostly for my own enjoyment.
So although my coins aren't worth a lot in a monetary sense, they are still worth a pretty penny to me.
Treborius Balm is simply a way to preserve the your coins and other finds so that they don't deteriorate anymore over time. Its a blend of paraffin waxes and oils designed to protect and also enhance the look of your finds.
Treborius is simple to use and the 29g tub will last for a longtime as you hardly use any for each coin.
You can also use Treborius balm on buckles, buttons and other artefacts that you recover.
It will seal off the air and hence prevent any further deterioration of your hard won finds thus preserving them and having them look their best in your cabinet.
To use the Treborius balm you simply rub your CLEAN finger onto the balm until it softens a little, then apply gently to the coin. You don't use too much. Just a small coating on your finger is enough to do a coin like a penny.
Once you have coated the coin or artefact then let it sit for a few days and your find is now preserved. Time to make some more room in the cabinet.
Treborius really brings out the patina and fine detail of your finds without making them oily and disgusting to handle.
Grab your Pot of treborius balm and don't forget your Andre's cleaning pencils as well.
